The Conscious Mind
The word "conscious" refers to something being alive and aware.
If your mind is the part of you where you identify yourself and the world, then it is the conscious mind that is the part of your mind that is active to the world in waking life. As said before, this is but a part of your mind that is being expressed. It would make sense that only a part of your mind can be expressed because every memory of your life cannot be expressed at once. Just think of how much memory you have. Take your age, calculating that each year of your life includes 12 months, around 30 days in each month, 24 hrs each day, 60 mins each hour, and 60 secs each minute. That is just too much memory to dump onto the world at once.
With the conscious mind, you can funnel your whole life properly for what your life brings. You'll have a habitual way you can be influenced by your mind in-the-moment to act with your family, friends, and other elements in your life in your own individual way. Again, your conscious mind will bring out those specific parts of your memory and language that will be suited for the people, places, things, and experiences you come across. This is useful so that you can be reminded through thought and feeling how you believe you should act in these life situations.
But where does your conscious mind funnel this memory and language from? Where does your memory and language get stored like a great library?
This storehouse of memory and language is your subconscious mind. Click the link to learn exactly where in your mind we use hypnosis to influence your mental programming towards more positivity and balance.

“In the past, I used to interrupt people a lot. I became better at hushing myself when listening to others. I can now see other people find it easier to talk to me than before, and this in turn made me feel more confident in social situations. In a similar manner, the reverse also happened: I became more receptive to the emotions of others, I can now feel other’s excitement for example. That was a great surprise to me, and further evidence that all is connected somehow.”
